Photovoltaic Systems as Actuators of Regional Development



The RURES Final Conference was held on 17 December 2018 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek.


As a part of the project training #3, the project partners and local stakeholders participated in two field trips to Pécs. The first was to the biomass-based power plant and the second to an active house in Pécs.



The second day of the last RuRES training was an active day with some new information for the project team members and the local stakeholders too.

In the frame of the INTERREG Hungarian-Croatian Cooperation Program 2014-2020, the „Renewable energies and energy efficiency in the scope of rural development” (shortly RURES) tender’s workshop was succesfully held on 30 November.



A round table entitled “Renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in the function of rural development” was held in Osijek on 26 September 2018 at the 9th International Conference on Natural Gas, Heat and Water (PLIN 2018).


The workshop was organized in a small village of Baranya county, in a pretty  guesthouse. The energy needs of this house is from fully renewable energy sources, mainly form solar cells. The mayor is also interested in small-scale solar powers in the county.
