In the frame of the INTERREG Hungarian-Croatian Cooperation Program 2014-2020, the „Renewable energies and energy efficiency in the scope of rural development” (shortly RURES) tender’s workshop was succesfully held on 30 November. The event – where next to the organizer Kaposvár University, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek’s Faculty of Electric Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Faculty of Informatics, and also the Hungarian Scientific Academy’s economical and regional research center were represented themselves – took place in Kaposvár.
The theme of the workshop was the possibilities of using renewable energy, where the organizers invited representatives of the region’s population and enterprises, and students. In addition to the invited lecturer, the program featured lectures by all project members, and also the results of the questionnaire completed in the villages of Koppányvölgy Naturpark have been presented, which emphasized the use of biomass.
